As part of our strategic partnership with one of the biggest financial institutions in the World, we are hiring various IT specialists, who will become part of their new IT Service Center.. The bank is an international organization dedicated to providing financing, advice, and research to developing nations to aid their economic advancement. The bank predominantly acts as an organization that attempts to fight poverty by offering developmental assistance to middle- and low-income countries. Our client is a provider of financial and technical assistance to individual countries around the globe. The bank considers itself a unique financial institution that sets up partnerships to reduce poverty and support economic development.
Team specific information:
The incumbent will work in the ITSEW – End-User and Workplace Computing Team, which is responsible for the evaluation, testing, and implementation of emerging technologies in the desktop and mobile computing areas. ITSEE (End-User Solutions and Engineering) is a division of ITSEW and is responsible for the strategy and engineering of the Windows end-user platform and associated products.

An ITSEE Desktop Integration Engineer (Productivity Suite Engineering – Office 365) is responsible for engineering & maintaining Windows Client Productivity components for geographically widespread 29000+ Enterprise Users


    • Proven experience as a seasoned Systems Administrator of Windows 10 client/server and Microsoft Office 365 SaaS solution and applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, Yammer, Teams, Skype and Cisco Jabber to maintain stable and effective desktop platform.
    • Configuring, maintaining & supporting Office 365/EMS end-point productivity suite for Enterprise Desktops/Laptops.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office extensible coding techniques like Visual Studio for Office
    • Experience with securing Microsoft Office platform on Endpoints.
    • Strong familiarity with systems administration disciplines like capacity planning, performance analysis, troubleshooting, trend analysis, etc. in enterprise environments.
    • Implementation of procedures-based solutions to support and monitor the effective operations of an element(s) of the infrastructure.
    • Experience with customization and packaging of applications for Windows Desktop OSs.
    • Experience with Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms is a plus.
    • Experience with scripting and programming technologies is a must.
    • Broad understanding of Operating Systems, their basic construct and main characteristics. In depth Windows experience is a must.
    • Broad understanding of network models and protocols is also a plus.
    • Good understanding of MS Active Directory administration, as pertains to support of group policies and login scripts.
    • Experience with virtual/remote desktop & application platforms such as Citrix XenDesktop, XenApp Server, XenServer/VMware ESX and Cisco AnyConnect VPN.
    • Design and plan testing efforts, coordinate feedback of test results. Develop case test files. Conduct unit, system, stress, integration and/or user testing to ensure that requirements are met.
    • Perform troubleshooting for security incidents that require software and network forensic analysis, in close collaboration with other ITS teams.
    • Ensure that World Bank Group policies, procedures and standards are factored into project design and development.
    • Document detailed system specifications for major systems installations.


Must have

    • BS or graduate degree in computer science/engineering with proven experience directly related to information security, computer systems, software development, testing, integration, and deployment.
    • Minimum 5 years of related experience related to desktop productivity suite engineering and Proven experience with installation, configuration, operational support and in-depth troubleshooting of following products:
    o Office 365 Suite;
    o Modern Browsers like Edge/Chrome
    o Splunk
    • Strong MS Office developer, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Strong communication skills in English (written and oral).
    • Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and flexibility to work effectively in a team-oriented and multi-cultural environment.
    • Ability to adequately plan and prioritize own work and team work while resolving competing demands.
    • Ability to effectively apply creative and practical problem-solving skills on a regular basis.
    • Strong project management capabilities demonstrated through experience managing IT projects.
    • Certification in ITIL V3 Foundation in Service Management is a plus.
    • Experience with developing, implementing, and leading adoption of ITIL and PMI best practices in project, service and infrastructure management is desirable.
    • Flexibility to work in close co-ordination with on-site and off-shore teams, as well as support end-users across the globe.
    • Willing to work in R&D activities and provide technical leadership on projects.
    • Ability to create concise documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

    • Knowledge of Engineering Products & Solutions related to endpoint platforms i.e. Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Direct Access and Enterprise Desktop Image Engineering
    • Extensive skills in kernel level debugging and log analysis for proactive monitoring of endpoints using Splunk
    • Expertise in Windows Active Directory Structure, Schema and Group Policies, and Microsoft PKI Infrastructure
