Founded in 1984, Our Client is the world's leading provider of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry, manufacturing complex machines that are critical to the production of integrated circuits or chips. The client has its R&D and manufacturing operations in The Netherlands.

We are looking for an experienced C++ engineer/designer to design and implement Driver Foundation Class libraries. These libraries should connect a legacy C code base to a new, modern object oriented C++ API.

Responsibilities

- Design and implement the OOP library
We are looking for someone who:
- Has the capability to create robust and flexible code which is both efficient on the inside but emphasizes on the ease of use on the outside.
- Has proven rack record for the migration of large legacy C code bases to object oriented C++

Skills

---

Must have

• C
• C++ 11 and higher
• experience with formal software quality through code review, static code analysis, unit testing, test automation
• good communication skills, pro-activeness, team player attitude

Nice to have

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• A passion for programming and software engineering
• Experience or proven ability in computational algorithms
• Experience or proven ability in technical specifications
• Experience or proven ability in designing complex software architecture
