For our client - a Hedge Fund from US - we are expanding the Platform Support team with another Senior Support Engineer.     • Investigate and resolve incidents on the cloud services
    • Address reoccurring problems with permanent solutions
    • Constantly utilize and enhance monitoring toolset
    • Expedite deployments when required


Must have

    • 5+ years experience as a Production Support Engineer.
    • Solid MS SQL experience.
    • Good scripting - bash, shell, PowerShell (or any other languages)
    • Experience with ActiveMQ or alternatives
    • Investment or Financial background.
    • English (written, spoken - upper intermediate).
    • Strong analytical mindset, responsible, multi-tasking, client oriented, strong communication skills.
    • Strong knowledge of Unix like and Windows platforms.
    • Experience with batch system preferably Activebatch.
    • Understanding of ITIL framework and SDLC process.

Nice to have

    • Knowledge in investment banking like: trade lifecycle, portfolio management, risks - will be strong advantage.
    • Experience with .Net \ Java applications - working with logs, troubleshooting, debugging.
    • Experience with support of reporting systems
    • Experience with ETL systems
