As part of our strategic partnership with one of the biggest financial institutions in the World, we are hiring various IT specialists, who will become part of their new IT Service Center.. The bank is an international organization dedicated to providing financing, advice, and research to developing nations to aid their economic advancement. The bank predominantly acts as an organization that attempts to fight poverty by offering developmental assistance to middle- and low-income countries. Our client is a provider of financial and technical assistance to individual countries around the globe. The bank considers itself a unique financial institution that sets up partnerships to reduce poverty and support economic development.

Responsibilities


    • Writing SQL.
    • Creating Unix shell scripts, Python, and Perl scripts.
    • Troubleshooting issues related to batch jobs, and disk space and memory management utilizing Unix/Linux tools.
    • Providing application Level 2 and Level 3 support.
    • Reviewing application traces and log files to identify and trouble shoot the application related issues
    • Deploying updates, patches, and hot fixes to Murex MX.3 and Numerix OneView applications.
    • Knowledge on Trade life cycle, Fixed income, and derivative products are preferable

Skills


Must have

    • Excellent hands-on experience in Unix/Linux operating systems.
    • Strong knowledge in writing SQL and understanding of relational database system such as Oracle database.
    • Good experience in creating Unix shell scripts, Python, Perl scripts.
    • Exposure to Unix/Linux tools to troubleshoot issues related to batch jobs, and disk space and memory management.
    • Hands on experience with application Level 2 and Level 3 support.
    • Good exposure to release and configuration management processes, familiarity with SVN, JIRA, ADO/ServiceNow and tools.
    • Good understanding of incident and problem management
    • Must possess excellent analytical and debugging skills
    • Reviewing application traces and log files to identify and trouble shoot the application related issues
    • Exposure to deployment activities for applying updates, patches, and hot fixes to Murex MX.3 and Numerix OneView applications.
    • Ability to take a high-level objective and deliver results working with HQ staff with minimal supervision
    • Team player with strong technical and user support skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Able to present and explain technical information to diverse types of audience (management, users, vendor, and technical staff).
    • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
    • Excellent personal organization skills and ability to take things to closure without follow-ups.
    • Ability to work well with diverse team members, often in multiple locations.
    • Ability to work directly with clients and management without supervision and to facilitate and navigate discussions with stakeholders to ensure clarity, prioritization, and consensus

Nice to have

    • Knowledge on Trade life cycle, Fixed income, and derivative products are preferable
    • Experience with deployment activities for applying updates, patches, and hot fixes to Murex MX.3 and Numerix OneView applications.
    • Prior working experience in Murex MX.3 and Numerix OneView environments support and related experience is preferable.
