You'll be working in a team which provides application support for the Reference Data & Azure Cloud suite of applications. You will be part of a global team that provides follow-the-sun support across APAC, EMEA and the Americas. It's an important role at the ground level building the organization's specific big data skills within our team and providing hands-on support as part of the Application Support team. You will play an important role in maintaining production stability, resolving incidents in a timely manner and working closely with development and business partners. You'll be able to work with your colleagues on interesting projects that will help build your skills and experience.

    We're looking for an L2 Application Support Analyst to:
    • provide production continuity and stability as part of a global and dynamic 24 x 5.5 support team
    • ensure workflows, processes, tooling and applications meet the highest production quality standards
    • contribute ITIL production expertise to the onboarding of existing and new IT products and services
    • define workarounds for known errors, initiate Problem Management and drive process improvements
    • assist in planning BCP, patching and other infrastructure related projects
    • contribute to automating manual processes
    • maintain a knowledge database

Skills


Must have

    • Ideally 3+ years of experience in the application support role
    • Experience with Unix, Linux, SQL and RDBMS
    • Experience with application monitoring solutions, preferably Netcool, AppDynamics or Splunk
    • Familiar with Cloud based systems, preferably Azure
    • ITIL Certified or familiarity of the methodologies
    • Knowledge of ITSM system, preferably SNOW
    • Highly refined and professional in verbal and written communications
    • Demonstrable experience in delivering a quality operational service to customers
    • Experience in operating under a Global team environment

Nice to have

    • Use of or knowledge of automation tools like Automation Anywhere or IP Center a plus
    • Investment banking domain experience
