Payroll Specialist, Berlin

Project Description

Seize the unique opportunity to take part in building up a new HR administration team in Berlin! You will work in an international and experienced HR team, learn every day from a whole range of HR topics, and help us to shape the future HR in a progressive and growing company.

Responsibilities

The Payroll Specialist processes and manages Luxoft's payroll and supports HR department in maintaining personnel data and answering employees' queries.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

✔ Gather information on employees, hours worked, incorporate overtime, deductions, bonuses, and calculate correct wages on time, obtain approvals, prepare and monitor payments, process and pay employees benefits;
✔ Advise and resolve payroll related cases correctly with respect to labor, tax, and social security law;
✔ Support HR processes from hiring to resignation; fill data; prepare employment and reference certificates;
✔ Address issues and questions from employees regarding payroll and HR topics in general;
✔ Prepare reports for local authorities, management, finance department etc.
✔ Serve as a contact point to authorities and other relevant organizations;
✔ Participate in internal ad-hoc projects, back-up other roles in the HR team;

FURTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

✔ Cooperate with other Corporate functions, Shared Service Center and with Global HR on implementation of improved HR practices in a technology-driven fast growing company;
✔ Cooperate on setting up a new HR administration team and the definition, development, and continuous improvement of growth-proof HR processes;
✔ Provide guidance and help with ongoing HR questions of our internal clients;

Must

MANDATORY SKILLS

✔ Completed Commercial education (Industriekaufmann/-frau) or comparable;
✔ Minimum of 2 years of experience with payroll in Germany;
✔ Knowledge of applicable German labor, income tax, and social security law;
✔ Good communication skills, structured, service oriented, flexible, team player, high professional standards;
✔ Willingness to learn, openness to international cooperation with different cultures;

Nice to have

NICE TO HAVES (not a condition)

✔ Experience in a company active in IT or technical field;
✔ Experience with working in a corporate environment;
