HR Expert, Berlin

Project Description

Seize the unique opportunity to take part in building up a new HR administration team in Berlin! You will work in an international and experienced HR team, learn every day from a whole range of HR topics, and help us to shape the future HR in a progressive and growing company.

Responsibilities

The HR Expert ensures timely, correct and compliant HR processes, supports the leadership in strategic HR agenda, and serves as a default contact person for Luxoft HR and management.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

✔ Handle independently all topics in social security, tax and labor law;
Issue HR documents (contracts, terminations, transfer etc.);
✔ Monitor timeliness of payroll process, and accuracy of master file data and personnel folders;
✔ Conduct HR process best practices and strive for continuous improvement;
✔ Cooperate with the local Works Council;
✔ Ensure legal compliance, internal policies compliance, and compliance with Working Health & Safety regulations;
✔ Resolve complex cases, incl. Employees Leasing (ANÜ), escalations, and code-of-conduct breaches;
✔ Develop and maintain roles description, compensation policy, time management regulations;
✔ Serve as a contact point to authorities and other relevant organizations;
✔ Monitor budget, issue reports both statutory and internal;
✔ Participate in internal ad-hoc projects, back-up in the HR time;


FURTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

✔ Cooperate with other Corporate functions and with Global HR on implementation of improved HR practices in a technology-driven fast growing company;
✔ Cooperate on setting up a new HR administration team and the definition, development, and continuous improvement of growth-proof HR processes;
✔ Provide guidance and help with ongoing HR questions of our internal clients;

Skills

Must

MANDATORY SKILLS

✔ University degree
✔ Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in a comparable role in Germany;
✔ Sound knowledge of German labor, income tax, and social security law;
✔ Working experience with Works Council;
✔ Great communication and advisory skills, problem solver, analytical, flexible, stress resistant, team player, high professional standards;
✔ Willingness to learn, openness to international cooperation with different cultures;

Nice to have

NICE TO HAVES (not a condition)

✔ Experience in a company active in IT or technical field;
✔ Experience with working in a corporate environment;
