Sales and Account Manager, New York City

Project Description

Luxoft is looking to fill the position of Account / Sales Manager for the part of large account for Major Investment Bank with focus on consulting and outsourcing practice, to be permanently located in NY, USA

The position assumes full ownership of software delivery organization currently lead by number of Program Managers in 2 key locations - Poland, Romania servicing several global banking institutions.

As a member of Luxoft management team, the role assumes active participation in all strategic initiatives including supporting development of new products and services, supporting sales activities and new client on boarding,


Develop long-term relationships with your portfolio of assigned clients, connecting with key business executives from C level on down.

Client Relationship Management
• Cultivate an understanding of client business and technology requirements, industry challenges and goals
• Own and expand C-level client relationships for all assigned accounts
• Build and maintain a high level of client satisfaction and reference-ability
• Be the voice of the client to internal teams, building strong working relationship with each to ensure client success and consistency of contact

Business Development
• Attain and exceed annual sales targets
• Proactively cross-sell and upsell the firms' solutions and services
• Drive sourcing, building, and delivery of RFPs for named accounts
• Actively participate in forecasting revenue and P&L
• Use Salesforce effectively to manage the sales process, lead generation to close, and maintain relevant data

Account Strategy
• Prepare and execute client strategic plans; define goals and objectives, map a route to achieving them
• Act as a collaborative partner with the Delivery teams to ensure delivery of optimal solutions for the firm and our clients
• Own all solutions and services sales activities for assigned accounts
• Conduct proper internal and external governance meetings
• Ensure full compliance with client requirements, minimize risk across existing clients and project
• Provide leadership in building, developing and retaining junior members of the SAM and Delivery organization

• At least 2+ year's professional experience of managing delivery streams of 100+ people in an outsourced capacity;
• 5+ years of practical experience in building ITO service delivery teams in outsourcing environment;

• Solid SDLC understanding and implementation experience (both Agile and Waterfall);

• Proven program management skills. Must be able to engage on the program / project level hands-on as needed

• End to end understanding and experience working within different financial outsourcing models (T&M, Fixed Price, risk/reward scheme), budgeting, budget execution, invoicing, SLA principles;
• Experience with financial institutions, Investing Banks, Hedge Funds;

• Strong Risk Management experience;

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal & written, excellent presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Education degree: Masters or PhD
