Project Description

Senior Software Engineer - Architecture documentation is on charge of document the current architecture of the systems and applications. They may create software tailored to a automotive clients' specific needs. They act as high-level decision makers in the process, determining everything from design choices to technical standards, such as platforms and coding standards.


Senior Software Engineer is part of a development team for a CI / CD environment, on charge of documenting the current architecture of a system taking in mind all the software components and actors of it.
Senior Software Engineer is responsible for document, modify, and propose changes to the current Software Architecture performing reverse engineering.
This position is the main contact between the customer and Software development team.
Requirements analysis and specification of high level software maintenance
Software architecture
Development and implementation of software design using structured techniques:
Code and test of embedded systems
Support of integration and system testing
Report on progress as required



A successful Software Engineer must be technically-inclined, a great problem-solver, and possess excellent interpersonal relationship skills. They are wonderful leaders and are extremely reliable. They should also work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Knowledge in Software Architecture
- +5 years of Relevant engineering discipline with experience in software engineering or design of safety critical or safety related real-time embedded systems in Automotive Industry
-Experience in providing leadership in demanding safety critical environments
-Demonstrable knowledge of good software development standards and practices as applicable to engineering disciplines
-Extensive experience delivering products programmed in C/C++ for embedded controllers (16/32 bit)
-Motivated, dependable and self-reliant, Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in an engineering
-Experience with Requirment Management Tools and Configuration Management Tools
-Automotive/embedded background with documenting/UML/SysML
-Experience in Architecture documentation tools (Raphsody, UML, etc)
-Flexibility to adapt to new and changing opportunities required
-Excellent communication skills
-Demonstrated effective teamwork skills
-Excellent interpersonal skills

Nice to have

-Experience as Software Lead
-Experience in any Architecture documentation tool
-Familiarity with Agile software development techniques; (Scrum, Kanban, etc)
-Experience/knowledge in CI/CD environments
-Experience of working to industry quality and safety standards MISRA C, ASPICE & ISO 26262
-Experience with CAN protocol and Communication Vector Tools
