As a Solution Architect at Luxoft's Connected Mobility Practice, you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and grow business in connected vehicle domain. The Automotive Connected Mobility Practice includes Diagnostics, Telematics, Cloud, IoT and Cyber Security. Topics like in-vehicle assistant and blockchain for automotive also find there home in the Connected Mobility Practice. The fields of focus will include vehicle software, computing, big data, IoT and AI.
Your broad responsibilities will include: owning the technical engagement with the customer and helping them to reach the ultimate success around specific initiatives. You would be expected to have deep expertise in the domain-specific digital technologies as well as broad know-how around how applications and services are integrated end-to-end in-vehicle platforms and enterprise IT and cloud environments.
Serve as a key member of the Automotive Business Development team ensuring customer success in building applications and services.
Engage with prospects and customers in the automotive industry, helping to shape their mobility/connected vehicle strategy and working to become the customer’s trusted advisor and solution partner on this topic.
Provide architectural guidance and recommendations for our customers, whether they are looking to design new systems in the cloud or migrating their existing environments.
Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the solution architect community as well as with the automotive industry.
Understand the automotive market segments and customer base and help to position & define Luxofts' mobility solutions with the needs of this industry in mind.
This position is based in Munich or Stuttgart.
Domestic and partially international travel up to 30%.
Technical knowledge of automotive and manufacturing industry applications, platforms, and ecosystem.
Ability to go deep on technical aspects to understand current and future customer needs and present Luxoft's solutions benefits.
Several years of experience in the automotive industry or having consulted customers in the industry.
A highly technical and analytical mindset, to understand the complexities of large automotive and manufacturing enterprise IT environments.
Strong verbal and written communications skills in German and English are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations in a global and multicultural environment.

Technical degree required; Computer Science or Maths background highly desired.
Working knowledge of software development practices and technologies highly desired.
Understanding of cloud computing architectures and services is desired.
Hands-on experience with related technologies with at least one out of - Amazon AWS, MS Azure or Google Cloud.
Understanding of IoT architectures, services and technologies is desired.
Experience with architecting and implementing Connected Vehicle solutions, Vehicle Data Management, Manufacturing and/or Quality Systems using Advanced Analytics (Data Mining, Machine Learning, Prediction techniques for quality) is highly desirable.
