Corporate Counsel / Senior Corporate Counsel, New York City

Project Description

Specialization: Technology Contracting - Technology/Software Licensing, IT, Engineering, Digital, and other professional services outsourcing transactions, partnership agreements with technology partners.

Location: Manhattan

Reporting to: Assistant General Counsel

Responsibilities

The position requires independently drafting, negotiating all transaction documents relating to technology, licensing and other related contracts, preferably from the suppliers context. Must have the ability to independently handle high net worth deals and work in a high-pressure environment, supporting the business teams while protecting the interests of the company. Candidates must have between 5-8 years of relevant experience in negotiating information technology and outsourcing contracts. Candidates must had a Juris Doctor degree from a reputable US law school and be admitted to a State Bar. Candidates must be authorized to work in the USA.

Other duties as deemed appropriate by the line manager or necessary in the ordinary course of your employment based on the needs of the Legal Department or the company. May include compliance advice, supplier contracts review, employment agreements review etc.
