Responsibilities

You will work as a PM/PMO in Risk and Investment Systems, partnering with CPPIB's investment professionals and operations staff to design and implement solutions enabling portfolio management and trading activities. You will be responsible for hands on development planning, monitoring and execution. Through close partnership with investment professionals and operations, you will see firsthand how your software is impacting trade activities and delivering long-term value to the CPP Fund for the benefit of 20 million CPP contributors and beneficiaries.

The opportunity:
• Aid in development, coordination, and execution of information governance strategy and project workplan;
• Coordinate with internal partners and technical vendor teams to execute solution implementation plan
• Aid in selection of a technical vendor and implementation of records and information lifecycle management system and policies;
• Prepare business requirements to define system setup and configuration;
• Analyze potential sources and assist with identifying definitions and rules for records classification, access control protocols and records retention;
• Recommend workarounds or alternative solutions to defects or issues;
• Monitor deadlines for specific deliverables and escalate deviations to project leads;
• Knowledge Transfer to full time employee(s);

Skills

Must

• Experience in Capital Markets - Order management and Collateral management is a must;
• Scrum knowledge (certified);
• Waterfall model knowledge;

Nice to have

• Experience managing Agile teams;
• University degree in Engineering or Computer Science;

  • English: Upper-intermediate
