Project Description

The test Engineer is responsible for the operation and coordination of the test lab in the corresponding location. He organizes the test infrastructure (Test tools, test systems (Client and Server). The person is supporting the requester for all test and questions around Windows SW implementation.
The Change Manager is responsible for the end to end integration of new applications and updates into production infrastructure. In case of production issues due to deployments he supports the business in finding workarounds or rollback to the old version.

You'll be working in the TOC EUS Change MANAGEMENT team. We are responsible for Wintel Software integration. This includes planning in cooperation with the business and internal stakeholders. Run test infrastructure and Non-functional testing. Represent changes to the Change Advisory Board.

Responsibilities

Functional jobs:
• Set-up the Hardware with Windows OS (Client, Server)
• Responsible person for technical-questions related to Wintel deployments
• contact person for engineering, project (vendor), testing team Zuerich and test user
• Responsible person for test HW preparation and SW installation in the test environment
• Responsible for tracking test activities and problems
• Error handling over Logs, Event-viewer
• SME for SW implementation and test questions
• Propose and implement systems enhancements
• Monitor usage and performance, and troubleshoot server, software, and hardware issues
• Analyse complexity and feasibility of new or changed requirements
• Represent GSI for the whole US region
• Create deployment plans

Skills

Must

You have:
• a university degree computer science, management information systems or professional certifications
• a background in the financial industry, or similar enterprise
• experience working with products like for example: Quality Centre, i-SAC (CMDB), VMware Client, Win 7, Win10 and Windows 2016

You are:
• analytical and logical (you can solve problems like nobody's business)
• an excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal skills
• motivated, self-directed and driven
• fluent in English
• experience of several years of with the Microsoft operating systems (Client and server)
• analytical working method
• technical know-how, HW and Network
• contact person for our customer (SWCM, Project, Test manager, etc.) and global SME's

Education
• Training for the Windows Server and Client Process (understanding and use)
• Training for tools (Ticket Tool, i-SAC, MMC, SIMVIEWER, OCRWEB, etc.)
• Special points in IT environment (SW Installation, Active Director, Error handling, etc.)
