Project Description

Luxoft Autonomous Drive (AD) is currently extending its activities in the development of future automotive platforms, based on next generation of AUTOSAR. The platform will be the SW architectural basis for high-performance functions in future vehicles, providing modern SW technologies such as service-oriented-architecture, Some/IP, RESTful, ara::com, DDS, developed under Linux/Yocto/C++14 for advanced Safety ADAS and Autonomous Driving level 3 and higher. The platform includes BSW and SDK components and support in Eclipse IDE.

We are looking for strong software architects. You will design and create the software architecture for application software and middleware on these platforms, and drive the implementation of successful projects.

Responsibilities

• Architecture design: Functional, Static/Dynamic, Interfaces and Workflow
• Support the Product Owner in the backlog refinement (prioritization, estimation)
• Drive Architecture reviews to ensure development and test teams fully understand and agree
• Work with Test Team to ensure product testability and test automation approach is widely applicable
• Report progress continuously through attendance of weekly project meetings
• Be proactive and highly motivated
• Contribute effectively in the continuous improvement of his/her project, team, and work environment by submitting improvement proposals whenever possible

Skills

Must

• Engineering Degree
• At least 8 years of relevant experience including strong skills in architecting of embedded software
• Strong experience with Embedded Linux system development/engineering
• Practical experience with Linux kernel space and user space (POSIX) programming
• Experience with Requirements Management
• Knowledge of software development life-cycle, practical experience with related activities
• Experience with Scrum or similar process
• Fluent English language
• Willingness and ability to travel

Nice to have

• Technical and/or team leading experience: encouragement and coaching for team members
• Practical experience with requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS)
• Experience with formal software development process (Automotive SPICE)
• Knowledge of functional safety development (e.g. ISO 26262)
• Experience with AUTOSAR (Classic or Adaptive Platforms)
