Production Engineering Support

Project Description

We are looking for talented and energetic support engineers to help implement the new generation of our provisioning, inventory, compute, scheduling, and software distribution platforms that are integral to large parts of our cloud and technology infrastructure, used by thousands of users across our Engineering organization. The role will allow you to gain an understanding of hybrid cloud technologies and concepts as well as understanding the firm's technology infrastructure. The successful candidate will participate in all phases of the software development life cycle and work with extremely bright and motivated individuals, who focus on object oriented / functional development, algorithms, distributed systems, and strive for continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

Identify recurring ops request and automate using sql queries and technology scripts
As part of L3 support identify and automate recurring alerts by fixing the root cause
New markets/product onboarding UAT support, involving UAT environment setup and answering user queries
Ops and business enhancements for the in the scope components as per the business requirements

Skills

Must

Minimum 3+ years of production support experience
Experience with Java, Spring framework, Hibernate, Linux, and SQL technologies.
Experience with javascript
Strong analytical skills and temperament to resolve complex issues
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work in a fast-paced global team.
Detail oriented, demonstrating thoroughness and strong ownership of work

Nice to have

Experience in financial services companies will be added advantage
