SW Engineer for Development of CockpitHMI Platform

Project Description

Software development of HMI for Cockpit (Cluster Instrument) and Head-Up-Display for an Automotive customer including brands.
Customer is asking to move existing project specific development towards a platform based development by support brand specific variants. Project is planned for several year, starting with platform development, then supporting brand variant projects and product upgrades.


Our goal is to take over complete platform development of Cockpit HMI and HUD as well as for SafeHMI (ISO26262 certified) with full responsibility on feature development, process and quality assurance (ASPICE Level 3) as well as timely deliveries.
Requirements management, SW architecture, implementation, test and simulation framework development, SW integration and Test as well as Change Management, Project and Feature management, Planning and Reporting.

Skills Required

• Experienced SW Engineer for area Cluster Instrument HMI development at Automotive OEM
• Experienced in HMI technologies, design, embedded development and tools
• Experienced working in agile development environment
• Analytical and conceptual thinking, proactive and committed
• Programming languages C/C++
• Knowhow about HMI and State Event Machine technology
• Concept development for realization of requirements
• Able to work in team and to take on responsibilities and ownership
• Able to interpret requirements (documented in German), read architecture and design documents for implementation of software considering process and quality rules (ASPICE Level 3, Coding Guidelines) as well as milestone planning
• Supporting and participating in Code Reviews and resolving of results from Static Code Analysis
• JIRA Task and Ticket Management
• Development of additional Simulation Environment and Tests/Test Automation
• Ensure traceability between requirements, architecture and design as well as test
• Documentation and Status Reporting
• Test Execution and Defect Resolution
