Can you tell us about your journey at Luxoft? How did you get started, and what has your career progression been like?
I’ve been with Luxoft close to 2 years now, and the journey has been good. Luxoft offers multiple opportunities if you’re ready to grab them.
What motivated you to pursue a career in the tech industry? Were there any role models or inspirations that guided you?
Since college, I have been inclined towards tech. Automation and seeing how a few lines of code can do wonders always fascinated me.
A few team leads at the start of my career were my role models who guided and nurtured me.
Gender diversity and empowerment are important topics. How has Luxoft empowered you to achieve your career goals as a woman?
Luxoft is gender neutral. I don’t see any discrimination, and women are treated equally.
Equality is what we women want.
As a tech professional, how do you stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements? Any resources or tips you can share?
With our busy lives and trying to balance the personal and professional, it’s not always easy to catch up with current industry trends.
My way to go is casual talks with new joiners, specifically university grads who just joined our team. They are well-versed in the current industry happenings, and I get to learn about new technologies and approaches.
What hobbies or interests do you pursue outside of work? Any fun facts about yourself that you'd like to share with the Luxoft community?
I love spending time with young kids. It’s a win-win. They teach you how to let go of any problem and enjoy the moment.
What advice would you give to other women aspiring to build a career in the tech industry? How can they navigate challenges and make their mark?
A happy mind can do wonders. A happy woman can excel in any field. I would like to urge my female colleagues to pay equal attention to their personal and professional lives. Take a break when needed.
