Can you tell us about your journey at Luxoft? How did you get started and what has your career progression been like?
The journey at Luxoft was smooth. I began by connecting with various team members, including my manager. During this time, I also acquired new skills such as automation testing. Additionally, I had the opportunity to conduct interviews and review CVs. I am now in a position where I will be able to explore more aspects of the project and the entire application.
What motivated you to pursue a career in the tech industry? Were there any role models or inspirations that guided you?
I love my job and am keen to learn more which helps in problem solving. Sudha Murty is my role model and an inspiration that has guided me.
Gender diversity and empowerment are important topics. How has Luxoft empowered you to achieve your career goals as a woman?
Gender equality makes development stronger and more sustainable. It is not only a pressing moral and social issue but also a critical economic challenge. Incorporating and encouraging those differences provides strength and flexibility to an organization’s leadership, and that diversity of thought can promote organizational success.
Are there any initiatives or mentorship programs within Luxoft that have been instrumental in your professional growth? How have they made a difference?
Yes, this involves relationships between lower-level employees and senior executives to help mentees advance their careers. Understanding the advantages of these programs can help employees and support individuals’ professional growth.
What's a tech-related question you've always wanted to be asked? Go ahead, ask and answer it!
I can see people from different departmental backgrounds like mechanic, civil and so on who are now joining software companies and working as software developers. Then what’s the point of having a BE CSE degree?
As a tech professional, how do you stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements? Any resources or tips you can share?
Attending industry conferences, tech events and connecting on social media.
What hobbies or interests do you pursue outside of work? Any fun facts about yourself that you'd like to share with the Luxoft community?
Yoga, dancing and cooking.
