As someone juggling multiple roles, how do you manage your day?
Every day, before going to work I get my kids ready for school and see them off to the school bus. In the office I am a software professional who collaborates and works to get the project delivered on time. After work, I come home and help in preparing food and ensure that my kids have eaten, done their homework and sleep on time. After that I am a student who studies for the MBA class and works on the assigned group projects.
How has Luxoft supported you in and outside of work?
Luxoft has provided me a supportive, kind and understanding team. My managers and team members have helped me in understanding the work and help me with any issues that I face during or after work.
What advice would you offer to other women who are aspiring to excel in their careers?
Don't wait for others to come and help. Seek help from family and friends and work hard to achieve your goals. Do not pressure yourself to do everything on your own. Seek help and delegate some work and make time for things you want to do.
What inspires you to continue growing and advancing in your career?
I like the work I am doing. The hard work I put in is appreciated and I can see tangible results.
How do you balance your career and personal life, especially if you are a working mom?
I get help from my husband, family members, colleagues, and friends. It is very difficult to do everything on my own. So, it is important to take out some time for family apart from work.
