Project Description

ECTO Group is responsible for providing all technology and associated infrastructure services within customer globally. This division reports directly to the CTO who represents IT on the EXB. The division consists of several sub-departments including Technology Business Partners, Chief Architecture Infrastructure, Global Products & Services, Global Production Control, IT-TIS COO and Hosting Services (HS).

The position in question is within the Hosting Services, Database department which is responsible for providing all operational Database services.

Responsibilities

This role will be part of the application development team assigned to enhance the CapMan tool, which is an in-house reporting solution that exposes IT capacity metrics (for example CPU usage, memory, etc.) to all IT Users in the bank. It integrates data from servers, databases, storage and more. The application needs to be extended in terms of data collection and processing to other data sources (network, storage, etc.).

Most challenging tasks are as follows:
Perform pro-active reviews of the Shared cluster and stabilize them.
Managing Incident Management calls
Supporting complex environment like DTD, MAR, One-HR

Skills Required

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
1. Knowledge of Oracle 10 / 11g, Oracle 10 / 11G RAC / 12c
2. Highly desirable Oracle GRID Control, ASM, Recovery Manager, Import / Export (and Datapump)
3. 5 years DBA experience, preferably as a Production Support DBA
4. Experience of supporting multiple teams within a business
5. Experience of working with multiple projects / task and the ability to priorities

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Knowledge of Oracle 10 / 11g, Oracle 10 / 11G RAC / 12c
Highly desirable Oracle GRID Control, ASM, Recovery Manager, Import / Export (and Datapump)
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
5 years DBA experience, preferably as a Production Support DBA
University Educated
Experience with Linux in a multi-domain environment including basic commands and Shell scripting
Oracle performance and tuning skills including server configuration and tracing facilities
Experience of supporting multiple teams within a business
Experience of working with multiple projects / task and the ability to priorities
